It was very unusual.</li> <li>I entered the cell building. As I was turning to look into a cell I saw the corner of the blanket move in a manor like someone was covering themselves, and then nothing, like it never happened.</li> <li>I walked through the prisoner visitation section(visitor side), and all of a sudden I got that feeling like I’m about to be side swiped by someone, and my body naturally tenses up and braces for impact. But no one was there.</li> <li>I walked back through the door to the prisoner side of the visitation section and all of a sudden felt very sick to my stomach and made a very fast pace to the bathrooms outside. Once there I discovered that I wasnt even the slightest bit sick. I didnt even have to use the restroom</li> <li>So I walk around outside a bit and then head back in to the same area, and get extremely light headed to the point where I felt like I was about to pass out. As soon as I left the area, the feeling passed.\</li> <li>Walking around the grounds outside, I find some small animal bones. Probably belonged to a bird or something. As I turn and leave I feel something relatively large “sit” or “hold” on my hair in this one spot. It felt like something the size of a large butterfly, and much heavier than an insect. I thought it was some insect in my hair an frantically tried to paw it out but there was nothing there. The feeling of something resting or holding my dreads continues for about 2 or 3 yards, dissipating slowly as I walked away</li> <li>I also at some point had a strong smell of formaldehyde that dissapeared real quick when I stepped away </li> <li>Lastly, there was a cell block I was at (closed off) and taking photos of, and I heard a very heavy and solid boot walk. I didnt like what I saw, I didnt like how I felt about the whole experince of the trip, my surroundings, the city I was looking at, the vibe the city gave me.</p> <p>2 minutes above ground in san francisco and on my way to the hostel and I’m asked for directions. I was asked for directions many times in portland. It seems I’m the girl you ask for directions in major cities. Funny thing is, I was able to help them too. I had walked 2 blocks and was able to give someone directions. XD</p> <p>Get to the hostel and they wont let me check in till 3pm( it was 11am when I got there). I had been awake for 24 hours, more than half that time spent in a greyhound bus, then train I had to pay 22 bucks for, to get me …. not very far, then the tram I had to pay 5 bucks for, that is very loud, very full, and just kinda unpleasent in general.</p> <p>So I left my stuff in their closet and walked around, trying to head to the nearest edge of water, getting lost and heading in the very wrong direction for 1 hour (walked around the library for an hour, its also misty and foggy and you cant see more than maybe 2 blocks away). A nice british lady took me with her in the right direction till she had to go a diferent direction and pointed the way I should go, which turned out to be the wrong direction I wanted to go (wrong corner of water I wanted to see).</p> <p>Once I finally got on the right direction to the water I wanted to get to , I was accosted by a homeless man on the way. He wanted to buy me a drink. I said no and never stopped walking. He followed. He wanted to take me out to a movie, he even showed me about 40-50 bucks in his wallet he would presumably spend on me. I said no, and veered off to an angle away from him holding onto my bag just in case, he followed and kept bumping into me being way to close. I told him I was going to go to sleep, that I had been awake for 24 hours. SO he said he wanted to buy me a drink, take me out to a movie, and then put me to sleep. I said no and that I could take care of myself. At which point he finally stopped, tried to shake my hand, and went on his business.</p> <p>Finally check into my hostel, and I cant eat in my room, I cant use my blanket or pillow, I am lucky if I get any kind of wireless signal in my room, and there is no alcohol (not even shitty piss beer) allowed in the building. To top it off, I have the top bunk (I hate having to climb up here)</p> <p>To be completely honest, I really liked the vibe and feel and look of Sacramento better. It was more northwestern-y. San Francisco is like, weird Florida/Los Angeles vibe mixed with nyc/boston architecture, minus the tons of tall buildings.</p> <p>I literally want to go right back to Portland. I’ve been planning out in my head for about a month and a half. I want it to start with the sun on my left upper arm. Have a spiral coming down from it, winding around my arm stopping at the top of my left wrist. All along the way are planets, ending with pluto on the top of my left wrist. This will also be my first and only color tattoo for the moment.</p> <p>2. Words I want but cant think of where to put it, somewhere mostly visible but not ridiculous or cliche. The words “BOH”, “BOH” somewhere.</p> <p>3. I want as of today (need to sit on the idea for a while before I’m sure, but I reaaallly like the idea). A scorpion on the right side of my ribs/stomach/hip. Although not sure, cause scorpion is often associated with the Scorpio sign.
